dotCMS Service Express

HCA Web Services is pleased to announce the release of six dotCMS service carts into Service Express. Service Express is a tool for HCA employees to request IT services. It offers a number of easy-to-use

service cart forms which capture data relevant to your request and log the data directly into Remedy tickets. The self-logging conveys your requests more rapidly into the tech support process, contributing to a faster resolution.

The six new service carts are:

  • dotCMS Content Request
  • dotCMS Design Request
  • dotCMS Domain Management Request
  • dotCMS Host Management Request
  • dotCMS Other Services and Questions Request
  • dotCMS User Provisioning Request

To access Service Express, simply type  http://servicecart in Internet Explorer’s address bar.

To access dotCMS Service Carts, simply type dotcms into the search field and click the magnifying glass.

After you have searched for dotcms in the search field you should see the six service carts.

 

The six service carts in more detail:

dotCMS Content Request

Use this form to submit a new dotCMS Content service request. Content includes: physician records, photos, buildings, appointments, office hours, and etc…

dotCMS Design Request

Use this form to submit a new dotCMS Design service request. These are requests related to images and website templates.

dotCMS Domain Management Request

Use this form to submit a new dotCMS Domain Management service request. These include requests related to domains and DNS.

*NOTE: Most of you will NOT use Domain Management, Host Management, and User Provisioning.*

dotCMS Host Management Request

Requests for vanity URLs and to disable hosts.

*NOTE: Most of you will NOT use Domain Management, Host Management, and User Provisioning.*

dotCMS Other Services and Questions Requests

Request information on dotCMS, including "how to?" questions about system user tasks in dotCMS, dotCMS errors, or request other services not listed elsewhere.

dotCMS User Provisioning Request

Use this form to submit a new dotCMS User Provisioning service request.

*NOTE: Most of you will NOT use Domain Management, Host Management, and User Provisioning.*

 

Once you have decided which cart to submit your issue in, you will fill out the all of the fields provided and scroll to down to the bottom. There you will find some more options such as: Add an Attachment, Summary, Save as Draft, and Submit.

*NOTE : To add more than one attachment, you need to create a zip file. Please add screen shots, documents, and photos that will be helpful to fulfilling the request.*

1-800-265-8422, options 7, 2. Please note that we are phasing out use of the email support1@ehc.com for dotCMS tech support requests. We will discontinue monitoring this mailbox on October 31, 2012.

Flash/Update

Another important change to our tech support process is the use of Flash/Update from this point forward to communicate dotCMS system outages, maintenance windows, and new releases. Flash/Update is a standard IT&S communication tool for many of HCA’s systems and technologies, and you probably already receive some of them. All dotCMS system users and members of the Digital Media Advisory Group have been pre-populated to the All.DL Flash dotCMS list, but any HCA employee can subscribe or unsubscribe to a Flash/Update list.
